|EASY PIZZA DOUGH MIX
|WATER||220 - 240 gm|
|OLIVE OIL||20 gm|
|DRY YEAST||5 gm|
Place all ingredients into a bowl. Using a stand mixer or with hands, knead together for about 10 - 12 mins to form a well-developed dough. Shape the dough into a large ball, place it in a slightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp towel and let it rise for 20 - 25 mins. Remove the dough from the bowl and shape it into smaller dough balls of the required size. Dust your pizza balls with flour, and store them under a damp towel, in a proofing tray, or under plastic wrap for about 5 - 10 mins at room temp for them to become soft and elastic. Stretch and shape the balls gently into pizza rounds without losing much air trapped inside the dough. While you prepare to top up your pizza, preheat the oven at 280ºC or even higher if possible. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil. Using the back of a spoon spread pizza sauce thinly leaving 1/2 inch from the border on all slides. Add your choice of toppings. Gently slide the pizza into the preheated oven. Bake at 280ºC for approximately 7 - 9 mins. Carefully remove the baked pizza and serve it hot.
